 Manipura is the third primary chakra of the huamn body according to the Vedic tradition.
Mani means "jewel" and pura means "city, place". The main element is "Fire".
After reaching and passing through the levels of  "Muladhara Chakra" and the "Savdhishtana Chakra", our consciousness reaches the third level the "Manipura Chakra".
Manipura Chakra is also known as the "Naval Chakra" , as the Manipura Chakra is behind the naval or the solar plexus.

As it is situated behind the naval it, and it's main element is "agani" (fire) it governs the pancreas, digestive system organs, and the adrenal glands, digestive metabolism.

The Manipura chakra contains many jewels like, the quality of clarity, self- assurance, self- confidence ,bliss, knowledge, wisdom, and the abilities to make correct decisions. The feeling of love and happiness that we feel in our heart, originate from the Manipura Chakra.

The Manipura Chakra is the centre of vitality, it controls our energy balance to strengthen and consolidate our health, it has an effect like magnet, attracting Prana from the cosmos. 
It's also described as the "cosmic door" because it provides an entry for numerous astral powers.

It helps in maintaining the temperature and how fast your body's reaction takes place.

Blockage in the Manipura Chakra paralyses and destroys our energy and triggers diverse physical and physic problems and many more problems like diabetes, cardio vascular disease, allergies, skin disease etc. However balanced Manipura Chkara greatly supports good health and assists in overcoming many illnesses.

The Manipura Chakra is represented by a lotus with ten petals, and the ten petal represent ten Pranas, vital forces, which controls and nourish all the functions of the human body, and the triangle tip pointing downwards indicates the spreading of energy and development.

The seed Mantra for Manipura Chakra is "RAM"

Yoga poses which will strengthen the Chakra are:

Dhanurasana, Virabhadrasana.
